AA-AMPS-HPA terpolymer is a novel polyelectrolyte scale inhibitor and dispersant containing multiple functional groups. Its molecular chain incorporates strong acid, weak acid, and nonionic groups, endowing the product with high calcium tolerance under high-temperature, high-pH, high-hardness, and high-alkalinity conditions. It demonstrates exceptional efficacy in inhibiting and dispersing deposits such as calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, zinc scale, iron oxide, and silt in aqueous systems. This terpolymer can replace T-225 and conventional sulfonate copolymers. It exhibits excellent compatibility with common water treatment agents, including polyphosphates, zinc salts, and organophosphonates. Notably, it enables high-dose zinc salt formulations with superior zinc stabilization efficiency, enhancing corrosion inhibition for carbon steel. Widely applied in complex water systems across industries such as steel, petrochemicals, power generation, oilfields, and coal.
